Hey Guys! Welcome to the first step in my 30 day blog challenge. I am going to go through step-by-step instructions from finding a hosting platform for your WordPress site to things you can do each and every day that only take 10-15 minutes of your time to help you generate revenue from your blog in the first 30 days! It really is that easy!

Step 1:

Blogging, starting your own blog and running your own blog is a great way to make long term passive income. That’s what a lot of people dont realize, you literally make money while you sleep! Now, it’s not a get rich quick scheme and you will not hear me saying that at all. The thought behind this 30 day challenge is to show just how easy it is to get started and make a little extra income. If you decide to continue running the blog after the 30 days, you could be making 5 or 6 times what you made in your first month. Now, before we can start making any money we of course need to create you a blog first! There are many places to get one, many are free and many are paid, let’s talk about Free VS. Paid.

Free Blogs

These are sites like Blogger, WordPress.com or Tumblr. Stay away from these, its almost impossible to get good SEO and ranking directly to your blog since they all feed through the main site. Also, support is very hard to get. The most important part is that these free sites wont allow you to run advertisements on your site to make money. Some of them wont even let you use your affiliate links. But they sure will show their own ads on your website and make money off of you.

Paid Blogs

I highly recommend getting your own hosting account and setting up WordPress yourself on that. This by far, is your best long term solution for running a successful blog and making money doing it.
